  If there was an option to rate this 0 out of 5 stars I would as this is by far one of, if not, the worst experience I have ever had with a service technician.
  
  We booked a residential site visit with Foster Heating & Cooling one day in advance because we were told by dispatch that they were fully booked on the day of the call. Later that day we were called and told that one of their service technicians had finished another job early and could fit us in that afternoon. I dropped what I was doing called the technician back and told him that it would take me approximately 20 minutes to leave the office and drive home to meet him. I asked if that would be alright or whether we should keep the original plan of a visit the following day. He agreed that he would be fine to wait, but failed to mention that he was going to start billing me from the time we hung up the phone. The call was made at 2:55 pm. I arrived home at 3:20 pm and met the technician to start the site visit.
  
  It was nearing the end of the workday and you could tell from the moment I arrived that the technician had mentally checked out for the day and was looking to drag out the duration of the site visit to ensure he could bill out for a full day’s work. The technician was more interested in asking prying questions about my property and living circumstances than fixing my heat pump. For a licensed journeyman, he was clueless regarding Fujitsu products and spent half of his time on the phone calling contractors and sales reps from other companies and his own to see if they could coach him through what he was he was supposedly trained to look at.
  
  In the end I was slapped with a $182 bill for the 1.5 hours he spent snooping around my property and loitering on his cell phone and told that he couldn’t be sure what was wrong with my heat pump and had failed to learn how to remove any of the data or error code from my outdoor unit.
  
  I brought my complaints forward to Mia, their Service Department Advisor, hoping to come to an agreement regarding the poor level of service I had received. She instantly became defensive and emotionally involved in the conversation, questioned my ability to challenge the scope of the work provided, and challenged me to leave my feedback online for others to read. So that it what I have done.
  
  Make the right choice ...any other choice... there a at least a dozen other more qualified local service providers in your local area who will provide you with the high level of service and value you deserve when looking for qualified trades in exchange for your hard-earned money.
